Katie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) who works with public and private sector clients to perform climate-related risk and disclosure assessments, integrating findings into business operations, strategy, risk management and corporate disclosures.

Prior to joining Mantle314, Katie worked at Deloitte where she focused on modernizing the finance function through the assessment and enhancement of strategy, talent, processes, and technology. During her tenure, Katie performed operational audits and service delivery reviews to provide baseline analytics, quantify risks and opportunities as well as develop recommendations for improved operations and reporting. She also assisted in the development and execution of internal sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives, including the research of sustainability offerings to ensure that clients were capable of gathering, integrating and reporting ESG data to best inform stakeholders and understand sustainability-related business risks.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto, Rotman Commerce, with a specialization in Public Accounting and Economics. With a passion for continued learning, Katie is currently pursuing her FSA Credential through the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) program, and has successfully completed the first of two exams.
