Larissa is Technical Analyst at Mantle. She is part of the initiative to transition public and private sector clients towards a low-carbon and climate-resilient future. As an Engineer-In-Training, Larissa assists in the creation and implementation of sustainability strategies. Strategies include building and portfolio green certifications, environmental compliance, energy management, embodied carbon analysis, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of buildings and infrastructure.
Before joining Mantle, Larissa was a Project Manager for Diamante Development, a luxury real estate developer in downtown Toronto. She is familiar with the land acquisition and development process, and has experience working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, sales and legal teams.
Previously, Larissa worked as a Construction Design Coordinator and as a Junior Estimator for Ferrovial Agroman Canada, a heavy civil general contractor. She has built a diverse portfolio of projects such as highways, hydroelectric dams and tunnels.
Larissa graduated from the University of Toronto’s Civil Engineering program with a Minor in Sustainable Energy. She holds a LEED Green Associate designation and is currently a candidate for LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction.
Larissa’s philanthropic contributions include local organizations such as Bridges to Prosperity, Plan Canada, Good Shepherd, Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, Art Gallery of Ontario and Luminato. Internationally, Larissa has consulted for micro-enterprises in townships within Cape Town, South Africa and favelas (slums) in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
